Day 11: Suggested Reading for the Holidays

One of Santa's favorite pastimes is settling down in his comfy chair in the study to read a good book. He spends an hour each night reading. Sometimes a few of the elves will come in and sit with him, hoping he'll read stories aloud. And sometimes he does. Most of the elves really like the traditional wintertime stories, but a few of them like the modern stories too.

Simon's favorite book is "A Christmas Carol" while Santa really enjoys "Morris' Disappearing Bag." Do you have a favorite Christmas story?

Wintertime is the perfect time to curl up with a good book in front of a fireplace. It's also a great time to share classic stories with those you love.

Many libraries have all of the Christmas stories pulled out onto a special shelf for easy browsing this time of year. Why not make a trip to the library or the bookstore and read some of these great books?
