Day 4: Write a Story for the Elf!

All of the elves were happy working on their Christmas toys, but Simon, the littlest elf, wasn't very happy. Why wasn't he happy? That's what the other elves wanted to know.

His best friend, Anton, tried to cheer him up by rattling his sleigh bells, but Simon was still unhappy. His other friend, Herbert, gave him the biggest candy cane in the workshop, but still Simon didn't smile. Even the chief elf tried to help. He offered to take Simon on a star ride over the North Pole, but Simon wasn't interested in flying.

Do you know why Simon wasn't cheerful? What caused his unhappiness? Is there a cure? What finally cheers Simon up?
