Day 9: Make An Ornament to Decorate the Tree
Each year, Santa's elves each make an ornament to hang on Mrs. Claus' Christmas Tree. Sometimes they string up popcorn or cranberries. Sometimes they make individual ornaments and give them to Santa and Mrs. Claus as presents.
Last year they made so many feet of popcorn garland that they had to string it on all of the pine trees outside. Every tree in the North Pole had popcorn hanging from its branches, which made the birds very happy. They had so much fun stringing popcorn while spending time together laughing, they didn't want to stop!
This year they've decided to make individual ornaments. Some of the ornaments the elves are planning are very complex, but many are simply coloring their favorite images and hanging them on the tree.
